June 2013 Update:Rania's
foal Falon, born 4/14/13. Black (will be great) filly (Dakota
VDL-SALUUT II-MERANO E). She is such a fun, entertaining, loving little
foal!
June 2013 Update:Rania's
next breeding will be to the impressive German, Holsteiner
Stallion Cormint. Cormint, reserve champion stallion of the 2004 Neumünster
approval, was described as, "highly modern and a sport horse type
extraordinaire. The darkbay middle size stallion always presented himself
with lots of energy and proved a superior representative of his age group.
He was one of the favorites due to his correct conformation and his sound
limbs, boasting high-quality basic paces with enormous impetus and
impulsion at the trot. He demonstrates his athleticism with super
technique and boundless ability over the jumps."
Cormint
has already sired three licensed Holsteiner stallions: Centurion, Corinth
and Chupamint, and has also sired Captain Sparrow, the 2012 champion of
the 5-year-old jumper Bundeschampionat whose impressive performance under
his rider Henrik von Eckermann earned him top marks.
With
his impressive bloodlines, talented foals, and his own accomplished
showing career - Cormint performed impressively and collected several wins
in young jumper classes at A through M level with Philipp Schulze -we are
very excited to add a Cormint foal to the WEF family!

2013 Update: New video of Rania's foal, Fallon ...
April
2013 Update:Rania had her foal on 4/14. She's
a beautiful black filly (will be grey) named Fallon (Dakota VDL-Saluut II-Merano
E). She is by Dakota VDL (Hyperion Stud) and is a member of his first foal
crop here! Both mom and baby
are doing great. She is
athletic and quick...
zooming around in true Holsteiner fashion - leaping and bucking!
Rania has produced four wonderful foals already and was recently bred to
Larimar, sire of last year's Seigerhengst. Rania's most notable foal is
Catano by Cathalido, bred by Silver Creek Farms and owned by W. Peralta.
Rania's motherline has produced horses at the absolute top of the sport
and they include none other than: Olympic Corlandus, Hilltops Cabaret,
Lenz - Land of Kings (1st Horse to jump 7'2"), VDL London, and Saluut
(Sire of Saluut II and 2 Olympic champions). All these horses derive
from the Blue Hen mare, Austria, which resides in Rania twice.

New Colt (2013, Casall/Quinar/Cassini I) in Holstein! Spectacular!
The
2nd part of this video is Liz's 2-year old, Canturo/Acorado/Landgraf mare
who will be prepped to go to her mare performance test this coming summer,
and will also be bred this spring. She is a premium filly out of Traviata,
a 52 Bonit mare. She is from stamm 776 - one of the most successful mare
lines in the world, and was bred by the breeders of the renowned stallion
Ramiro. Also of note:her 3/4 brother was champion foal in Holstein for 2011(the same
year she was born). We look forward to her progress, and to her progeny
being every bit as spectacular as she is!
This
year’s Siegerhengst (champion stallion) in Holstein by Casall.A half-brother to my colt in Holstein (Casall/Quinar/Cassini I).Casall sons have been Siegerhengst or reserve Siegerhengst for the
last three years, commanding between 400,000 to 600,000 euro at the
auction held immediately following the Keuring. They now limit Casall's breeding to only approved Holsteiner mares
breeding in Holstein, and only 300 mares.

Vinara's Colt, May 2013
April
2013 Update:In Holstein, Germany, Vinara (Quinar-Cassini
I-Latino) just gave birth to a beautiful colt (Casall-Quinar-Cassini I) on
4/19.He is a leggy bay with three
socks and a narrow blaze like his phenom jumper sire, Casall la Silla (2nd
worldwide in jumpers).It's very
exciting because no one has this combination and, given Quinar's passing
last year, he is of particular significance.
